Experience this 4.9-mile loop trail near Sloatsburg, New York. Generally considered a challenging route. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Begin by following the Pine Meadow Trail for about two miles before arriving at the Diamond Mountain Tower Trail, this will head uphill to the top of the mountain. from the top, follow Seven Hills Trail to the Kakiat Trail. Kakiat follows Pine Brook and eventually reaches Stony Brook Trail which returns to Pine Meadow Trail and the visitor center. There is an option detour shown on the route here down to the lake. There some sections of trail that are challenging for dogs, you will likely need to assist them in some areas. The l…
