Lets go hiking with like minded Friend's of Bill in Tuxedo Park NY. We will do part of the Doris Duke Trail loop, and a second part that includes unblazed trails to the Fitzerald Falls for lunch. It will be approx a 6 mile loop.
Alltrails reviewer: "Moderately challenging is accurate. Definitely tie your laces tight. pretty rocky. Wish I had the taller shoes on for ankle support. I call it HIIT trail. Back and forth nice flats with segments of quick ascents to keep you honest. Lots of little streams. Wouldn't do after rainfall, probably pretty wet. Did the counter clockwise loop. next time will go clockwise."
"Fun trail. There were a lot of small water Crossings in the first half. Most of them you could step over. The trail is rocky, even for Orange County New York. On the plus side the parking lot…
