Recent Reviews:

Feb 3rd 2024 "Very strenuous, 5 steep ascents and descents, hardly any flat sections and rough terrain. This is not a ‘walk in the woods’ with a well treaded and beaten path. The blazes are clearly marked just make sure you don’t blindly follow the stream path as there can be unexpected turns to stay in the actual trail as the path is strewn by rocks, branches, leaves and twigs. There is hardly any flat section as it’s mostly going up and down steep inclines and descents controlling poles will come in handy. On this old day even though the hike was strenuous it felt great once completed, please be patient with the hills and it will be a great workout and rewarding experience."

Another review : 1/14/2024 "Unbelievably challenging trail but by far the most rewarding feeling when you finish it. Awesome views and this hike definitely tests your technical ability. Trail was extremely muddy but that was expected with all the rain northern NJ got over the week. If you have the chance to do this hike, definitely do it."
